Wherever you are in the process of considering a law school, actually being on a law school campus is an invaluable experience. We offer a variety of opportunities for you to engage with WVU Law and experience what life is like on Law School Hill.
Info Sessions are small group, informal presentations for prospective students to
learn about WVU Law, the admissions process, and tour the College of Law building.
Questions are encouraged from attendees throughout the session. Schedule permitting,
some Info Sessions will include an optional class visit. Info Sessions are held
periodically throughout the semester.

WVU Law Open House
WVU Law's Open House (aka Experience WVU Law Day) is for anyone interested in pursuing a legal education. Sessions focus on the application process, academic offerings, and career options. Participants can also sit in on a class, tour the WVU Law building, learn more about financial aid, and meet current students. Registration is free and lunch is provided. WVU Law welcomes individual visits during the week. Visits can be scheduled to start at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Prospective students have the option to meet one-on-one with an admissions team member, tour the College of Law, and sit in on a law school class (schedule permitting).
Visit requests should be made no later than three business days before the requested date. While we will try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee availability if you attempt to schedule a visit with less than three days of notice.
Note: individual visits are not available during West Virginia University closures.
