The West Virginia Bar Exam is a Uniform Bar Exam. That means your score is portable to other UBE jurisdictions.

If you take the UBE in West Virginia, your score can be transferred to other UBE jurisdictions, like New York, Massachusetts, Oregon or Colorado. A non-passing score—lower than 270—in West Virginia might be passing score in another UBE state.

To practice in another UBE state, you will still need character and fitness certification. Also, there may be other requirements, such as an online quiz for state-specific laws—but you don't have to take that state's bar exam.

That means, more than ever before, you really can practice anywhere with a law degree from WVU.
