  • West Virginia University is a multi-year winner of the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award (INSIGHT into Diversity: 2016-19). 
  • In 2017, the City of Morgantown added diversity language to its nondiscrimination ordinance protecting the employment, housing, and public accommodations rights for all of its residents.
